Bahrain Islamic Bank’s new initiative brings cheers to corporates

Recent update of Bahrain Islamic Bank will enable all businesses and institutions to take advantage of the feature

Through its corporate mobile application, Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has made it possible for its corporate clients to open and maintain their accounts electronically by introducing an end-to-end mobile account opening feature.

The introduction of this service, which spares business clients the inconvenience of having to go to physical branches or financial centres, is consistent with the bank’s aim of invariably creating cutting-edge financial digital solutions to make banking transactions safe and secure.

This most recent update of Bahrain Islamic Bank will enable all businesses and institutions to take advantage of the feature.

The bank’s end-to-end digital service was introduced in September 2020 and allowed individual establishments and Sijili customers to open a corporate account via the bank’s corporate mobile application, Bahrain Islamic Bank Corporate Digital, through facial recognition.

This reiterates Bahrain Islamic Bank’s commitment to revolutionising conventional customer service and streamlining its clients’ financial affairs.

According to reports from zawya.com, Jawad Humaidan, Chief Corporate & Institutional Banking Officer at BisB, said, “We are proud to be the first bank in the kingdom to launch end-to-end mobile account opening service for all our corporate clients through BisB’s mobile application, ensuring timely services without the hassle of visiting a branch. This recent launch is part of the bank’s continuous efforts in rolling out the latest digital banking solutions to simplify banking for corporate entities, thereby enhancing their experience and reducing the time taken to open accounts.”

“Following the successful launch of our corporate digital services in September 2020, BisB is eager to continue its efforts in offering its clients digitised banking solutions that will result in a shift in the banking sector in Bahrain,” Jawad Humaidan added.

The face ID sign-up process demands a copy of the applicant’s Identity Card as an extra level of authentication in order to provide the highest level of security.

Corporate clients can apply right away for any of Bahrain Islamic Bank’s corporate products and services and carry out regular financial operations once they have been verified by the bank.
