VIB Business Card: Tailored for smart enterprise growth

The launch of the VIB Business Card reflects VIB’s strategic foresight, especially amid current economic shifts

With a vision to maximise benefits and elevate businesses, Vietnam International Bank (VIB) officially launches the “VIB Business Card,” a pioneering financial solution tailored to meet the growing demands of the Southeast Asian country’s entrepreneurial community. Offering two standout benefits – a lifetime annual fee waiver paired with the market’s longest interest-free period of up to 58 days, or unlimited cashback on all transactions – the VIB Business Card reinforces the bank’s commitment to “Leading card trends,” providing a powerful tool for businesses to manage finances and optimise cash flow effectively.

While interacting with the Global Business Outlook, Tuong Nguyen, Head of VIB’s Card Division, said, “The launch of the VIB Business Card marks a major milestone in our strategy to build a comprehensive financial ecosystem that serves wide segments of customers, from individuals to enterprises. This product reflects our commitment to understanding and addressing the unique financial needs of business clients. More than a payment tool, it’s a strategic asset for cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and growth acceleration—combining flexible lending with modern cash flow management via digital platforms.”

Dang Tuyet Dung, Country Manager for Visa Vietnam and Laos, remarked, “Tailored for sectors directly supporting business operations, the VIB Business Card brings two compelling benefits—lifetime annual fee exemption with the market’s longest interest-free period, or unlimited cashback credited directly to the card. This launch is a significant step in transforming corporate finance digitally in Vietnam. We applaud VIB’s innovation and practical financial solutions, particularly for SMEs. With Visa’s global network and digital commerce expertise, we look forward to partnering with VIB to unlock regional and global opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises.”

Recognising the diverse needs of the businesses, the VIB Business Card now comes armed with two customisable benefit plans – with the flexibility to switch between them at any time via the hotline 1900 2200.

Lifetime Annual Fee Waiver And Up To 58 Days Interest-free

Key advantages for businesses choosing this option include a lifetime waiver of annual fees (no minimum spending required) and an exceptional interest-free period of up to 58 days, the longest currently offered in the corporate credit card market.

This nearly two-month interest-free period offers a substantial cash flow advantage, enabling businesses to cover major expenses, such as rent, inventory, or advertising, without the immediate pressure of interest charges. In collaboration with VNPAY and Visa, VIB also provides Business Payment Service Provider (BPSP) functionality through the VNPAYB2B platform, allowing cardholders to make payments to any business account, even if the recipient doesn’t accept card payments.

Real Savings On All Enterprises’ Expenses

With the second benefit option, the VIB Business Card offers a compelling 1% unlimited cashback programme. Businesses can choose the spending category that best aligns with their operational needs and earn 1% cashback with no cap on eligible transactions within that category, along with 0.1% cashback on all other spending. Switching categories is quick and easy via VIB’s digital banking apps for businesses – MyVIB Biz or MyVIB Corp. This option also includes Business Payment Service Provider (BPSP) functionality via the VNPAYB2B platform, allowing seamless payments to any business account, regardless of card acceptance.

“Unlike many credit cards that limit cashback per billing cycle or annually, the VIB Business Card ensures ongoing, uncapped savings on essential business expenses. The more you spend in your selected category, the more you earn – cashback is credited directly to the card account, effectively reducing actual costs. The programme is simple, transparent, and applies to common business expense categories. For example, a company spending VND 150 million per month on advertising could earn VND 1.5 million in monthly cashback, totalling VND 18 million annually – a meaningful saving that directly enhances the bottom line,” the company told Global Business Outlook.

VIB Business Card: A Powerful Expense Management Tool

In addition to its dual-benefit design, the VIB Business Card provides advanced features for smarter financial control like smart expense tracking, under which the customer gets to monitor and manage spending with real-time insights and linked account payments. The entrepreneurs can also choose their statement date, payment ratio (1–20%), and automated debit options (min, max, fixed amount or percentage).

The VIB Business Card has also been designed for effortless online and international transactions, while the product’s users get to access up to VND 1 billion credit without collateral, fuelling business operations and expansion. The VIB Business Card has further been equipped with exclusive travel perks like unlimited lounge access and FastTrack services for cardholders spending from VND 500 million/year. Scoring high on the data security front, the card comes with EMV chip technology and 3D secure authentication to protect all transactions.

The launch of the VIB Business Card reflects VIB’s strategic foresight, especially amid current economic shifts. With concerns over the 46% American tariff and new VAT refund rules (effective July 1, 2025) favouring non-cash payments, the VIB Business Card emerges as a critical tool for Vietnamese enterprises to maintain liquidity, reduce costs, and stay competitive.

“By empowering businesses to choose between waived annual fees with extended interest-free periods or unlimited cashback, along with deep customisation, we are redefining the corporate card experience. The VIB Business Card is designed to be a trusted companion in every business’s journey toward sustainable growth,” Tuong Nguyen concluded.
