ADNOC expands in 19 countries and establishes its presence in Africa

It signed two new distributors for ADNOC Voyager lubricant in Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) the UAE’s largest fuel convenience retailer is expanding its global presence to 19 countries and also making its first foray into Africa, according to media reports. It has also signed two new distributors for ADNOC Voyager lubricant in Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

These two contracts are expected to supply 1,500,000 litres of voyager lubricants, and ADNOC Voyager is now available in 19 countries across three continents. In recent years, ADNOC has seen impressive growth in international markets that includes a distribution network present in regions like Asia, North and East Africa, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) as well as the Middle East region. It has also doubled its international volume over the last two years, aided by a dedicated global growth strategy.

Bader Saeed Al Lamki, CEO, ADNOC Distribution told the media, “We look forward to working with our new partners as we continue to expand into new global markets. The quality of our product has garnered great interest internationally, and we offer a fully integrated lubricant value chain. “We continue to grow in the coming years. We are constantly looking at market trends to ensure that we are engineering products that meet industry needs, not only here in the local UAE market, but worldwide. The launch of our dedicated Hybrid vehicle range last year is testament to this forward-looking strategy.”

The Voyager is built using ADNOC’s high-quality Group III base oil, ADbase, using ADNOC’s high paraffinic crude oil. It is an ideal index because of its high viscosity index, thereby ensuring efficiency and fuel economy for high-performance engines while keeping in mind the proper environmental regulation.
