Bawabat Al Sharq Mall adds yet another feather to its crowning glory of achievements. Abu Dhabi’s favourite family shopping and leisure destination wins international recognition for its showcase of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives that have significantly impacted the community it serves.

The mall was awarded the Best Shopping Mall: CSR Initiatives in the UAE at Global Business Outlook Awards 2021, which seeks to recognise and reward excellence in businesses worldwide. It is designed to facilitate the outstanding work of businesses and business leaders across industries.

Inspired by the UAE’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, well regarded worldwide, the mall supports the country’s vision to develop a culture of responsible business practices. Being directly in touch with the people daily, the mall strives to fulfil its social responsibility towards the society it serves.

Every October, the mall organises a Breast Cancer Awareness campaign to motivate women in their fight against cancer. In addition, the ‘Movember campaign’ is another initiative that aims to help men live happier, healthier and longer lives.

A regular host to SEHA’s Blood Donation drive, the mall also offers its support to the less privileged community members every year during Ramadan, collaborating with Red Crescent’s ‘Iftar Al Saa’im’ project to provide Iftar daily during the Holy Month.

What makes the mall’s efforts stand out is that it utilizes every opportunity to support the UAE’s young talents and government initiatives while working towards the greater good of the community with highly interactive CSR campaigns.

Home to various consumer brands ranging from high-end global brands to exclusive local brands, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall is conveniently located in Baniyas City. It serves Mohammed bin Zayed, Al Wathba and other residential communities.

The mall is part of the Baniyas Investment and Development Project, a mixed-use complete community project that spans over 108 hectares. Spread over two floors covering 64,000 square meters of retail area, the mall features over 250 prime retail shops, entertainment & amusement amenities, cafes & dining facilities.
