Airtel launches new Supa-4G network in Tanzania

The new development will see the establishment of 4G services on dual bands of 700MHzz and 2100 MHz

Airtel Tanzania is gearing up to revamp its 4G network in Tanzania to bolster and deliver efficient communication services.  It is reported that the company will provide the Airtel Supa-4G network to its customers across over 500 towns.

The new development will assist customers to rip the benefits of a faster and seamless 4G service for fast internet and downloading.  The company has invested significantly in accordance with delivering efficient data and voice to its customers.

It is reported that the new development will see the establishment of 4G services on dual bands of 700MHzz and 2100 MHz. The upgraded network will provide ultra-speed internet above 40MBPS delivering seamless digital services to the consumers.

The new development will boost the local community in the country and empower residents to use digital services such as super-fast uploads and downloads, HD video streaming and high-speed internet browsing on the company’s new network. Customers have to upgrade their sim card to 4G to enjoy the new Supa-4G network.

The Airtel Tanzania Communications Director, Beatrice Singano, told the media, “The customers can upgrade their SIM in just 5 minutes in any Airtel Shop and moreover, Airtel is even giving free 7GB worth to all customers still using 3G SIM Card to upgrade to 4G SIM Card. Airtel has come with Airtel 4G Internet MiFi devices with an aim of providing access of 4G speeds to every smartphone user.”

Airtel is looking to bolster its presence across Africa and seeks to become the best telecom provider in the continent.
