Batelco, PIE partners to roll out digitalised branch

PIE is one of the largest fintech in Bahrain

Payment International Enterprise (PIE), a Bahrain-based fintech major entered into a strategic partnership with Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco), media reports said. It is reported that both the companies will roll out a dispensing capability-based digital branch on the Tam kiosks.

PIE, which has a license from the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), is considered one of the largest fintech companies in Bahrain. The company has many partnerships in the country to innovate telecom companies, insurance companies, IGA, EWA and MOF.

Furthermore, Tam Kiosks is a platform which carries out automatic payments and is authorised by the Batelco and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). The platform accepts debit card, credit card and cash in Bahraini Dinars and Saudi Riyals. Customers can redeem a cashback while choosing the cash option.
