Standard Bank adds partners to its cardless transaction application

The payments platform allows customers to send and receive money without the need to have a bank account number

Standard Bank is making a new development to its cardless transaction application PayPulse by adding news partners such as Liberty Life, Olusheno and MTC Data, media reports said. The development aims to diversify offerings and boost mobile payments services for customers and partners.

Standard Bank’s Head of Digital Transformation, Rejoice Itembu, told the media, “The bank is determined to continue updating and improving the PayPulse capabilities while pursuing advanced customer experiences. Adding new partners and users on our PayPulse platform is testimony of the user-friendliness that it offers. It has become a real enabler for families who are now able to pay for airtime, food, fuel, fast food, electricity, and much more on PayPulse.”

The new development by the company allows the platform to mark itself as one of the convenient mobile payment platforms where the customer can carry transactions without being a Standard Bank customer.

PayPulse has a good market in South Africa as it provides everything that a customer for seamless payments of goods and services.

The inclusion of the three companies will pave the way for Standard Bank to carry out payments related to off-grid home lighting Olusheno kit, Liberty Life insurance premiums and MTC Data through the platform.

The payments platform also allows customers to send and receive money without the need to have a bank account number. In addition, customers can instantly cash out their money at the till of any prominent supermarket.
