Siemens continues to advance its long-standing presence in Saudi Arabia, supporting the Kingdom’s industrial development and digital transformation efforts in alignment with Vision 2030.

Speaking to Al-Eqtisadiah on the sidelines of the Industrial Transformation Exhibition in Riyadh, Fawwaz Al-Shammari, Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Industries at Siemens Saudi Arabia, reaffirmed the company’s focus on contributing to sustainable industrial growth through advanced technologies and local capability development.

Al-Shammari noted that Siemens is strengthening its operations in the Kingdom through continued collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders, supporting industrial modernisation and the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies.

He also highlighted the company’s role in the electric vehicle sector, where its solutions support automakers such as the Saudi company Ceer in building their production capabilities and strengthening readiness for future technologies.

Looking ahead, Siemens remains focused on expanding its technology portfolio in Saudi Arabia, with particular emphasis on industrial software, cybersecurity, sustainability solutions and workforce development initiatives that contribute to long-term economic diversification.

Siemens’ relationship with Saudi Arabia dates back to 1929, marking nearly a century of partnership through landmark infrastructure and technology projects across multiple sectors.
