Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology has invested $15 million in the Middle East over the next three years in the newly-unveiled Huawei Cloud Oasis program which will accelerate the the development of technology enterprises and ecosystems in the Middle East and support over 3000 experts in the region, according to media reports.
The cloud computing program was launched during the second edition of the Huawei Cloud Summit that was held virtually on September 15, 2021. The annual event connects business leaders, industry visionaries, and Huawei partners with these to build a more dynamic and sustainable ecosystem for collaboration.
In recent years, many countries across the region have witnessed an acceleration in cloud adoption and investment. Putting Huawei’s 30-plus years of expertise in ICT solutions, Huawei Cloud is currently a leading cloud service provider globally that provides reliable, secure, and cost-effective services.
The project has set a target to empower more than 100 small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to develop their cloud capabilities and will also support more than 100 marketing events during this period to help cultivate a thriving cloud ecosystem within the business community.
