Republic Bancorp, Inc is the parent company of Republic Bank & Trust Company, which has 47 banking centres in communities within five MSAs in five states

Republic Bank & Trust Company (“Republic” or “the Bank”) has again been named one of the top 50 community banks in the country by S&P Global Market Intelligence in the $3-$10 billion asset category, ranking 24th in the country and the highest-ranked bank or financial institution headquartered in Kentucky for the third consecutive year.

Steve Trager, Republic Bank Executive Chair, said, “It is an honour that our performance continues to be recognised by S&P Global Market Intelligence as the highest-ranked bank based in Kentucky. This recognition is a credit to our associates and their continued focus on disciplined execution and consistent performance.”

S&P Global Market Intelligence ranks institutions on returns, growth and funding, but focuses on the health and risk profile of the balance sheets, assigning scores based on eight metrics: pretax return on average assets, net interest margin, efficiency ratio, 3-year average operating revenue change, 8-quarter average deposit change, nonperforming assets and loans 90 days or more past due as a percentage of total assets, net charge-offs-to-average loans and leases ratio, and adjusted tangible common equity-to-tangible assets ratio.

Logan Pichel, Republic Bank President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “This national ranking reflects the effectiveness of our operating model and our focus on strong financial fundamentals. We remain committed to disciplined growth and long‑term stability.
