Cambridge Associates to establish new office in Asia

Cambridge Associates opened an office in Singapore in 2001 and in China in 2011

Cambridge Associates, a Boston-based firm, plans to establish an office in Hong Kong. The office will be led by Edwina Ho from UK investment consultancy Willis Towers Watson. This is only the third time where Cambridge Associates have established an office In Asia.

Earlier, Cambridge Associates opened an office in Singapore in 2001 and in China in 2011. It is reported that the new development is expected to spur the company’s business growth in Asia, especially among private clients and family offices. The company has not disclosed the opening of the new office.

Furthermore, Ms Edwina Ho will serve as the company’s senior director of business development for Asia. She was the investment director at Willis Towers Watson, prior to the new appointment. Ms Edwina Ho has worked with companies such as Goldman Sachs, Macquarie and McKinsey serving senior positions.

Cambridge Associates’ head of global private client practice Mary Pang has relocated to Singapore to foster the development of the new office.

Mary Pang, told the media, “Cambridge Associates is proud to have been in the region for over two decades, and the expansion of our footprint to Hong Kong will allow us to better serve our growing Asia, and global, client base.”

Currently, the company possess $30 billion of total assets under management. Cambridge Associates caters more than 230 wealthy individuals and families globally. The company has been working hard to compete with its counterparts and to grow as a company.
