Absher platform surpasses 26 million digital ID milestone

Ministry of the Interior aims to improve e-governance in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry highlighted that it had provided more than 350 services to the beneficiaries through its Absher platform. These services cover the vast majority of fields and sectors.

The beneficiary’s admittance into various national platforms has been made easier, thanks to the digital IDs provided through Unified National Access.

The Ministry’s efforts to enhance and raise the digital transformation journey in Saudi Arabia, and to meet the aims of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, led to the creation of the digital ID program, which was in line with those efforts.

Additionally, it is a goal of this effort that Saudi Arabia is placed in the top five countries worldwide for the e-governance indicator.

The Absher platform will take an active role in strengthening the development and growth of e-governance and empowering digital transformation in the kingdom.

In addition, the platform strives to enhance the quality of the services delivered by improving and advancing the electronic delivery of government services to boost the level of contentment experienced by the kingdom’s subjects.

It is noteworthy that the Absher platform has achieved breaking its records during the first six months of 2022, as it has completed more than 11.6 million e-transactions, with an average of more than 64,000 transactions per day. These are just some accomplishments that make up the record numbers achieved during this period.

The Absher platform has also delivered integrated electronic services to 64,000 beneficiaries daily, meaning that these individuals no longer need to travel to the Ministry of the Interior offices to receive benefits.
