Amazon launches new generative AI service

According to a newly released notice from Amazon Web Services, AIs are made for the benefit of enterprises and their individual demands

Amazon has finally made the decision to join rivals Facebook and Microsoft in the artificial intelligence arms race.

The company has made the decision to introduce a brand-new generative AI solution via its cloud computing project. The target audience includes corporate individuals who want to implement artificial intelligence in their organisations. Experts say, it is a nice spin-off on the regular tech giants’ who are focusing more on consumers related to artificial intelligence.

With the use of AI apps, the Amazon Bedrock AI service provides firms with tools to grow and create brands. According to a newly released notice from Amazon Web Services, AIs are made for the benefit of enterprises and their individual demands.

The Bedrock tools include two separate language models that are based on Amazon. One of them is Titan Text, another chatbot that is similar to ChatGPT and can create text for things like blog posts and even email creation. The text-based one, known as Titan Embeddings, helps with search personalisation.

Additionally, Amazon Bedrock wants to incorporate models using companies like AI21, Stability AI, and Anthropic. Customers will have the option of customising the Titan models based on their own information and needs. However, any additional data would not be used to train the model, keeping it secret and safe from other potential customers and business rivals, CNBC reported.

Some prominent names that are frequently mentioned as being eager to give Amazon’s novel and intriguing endeavour a shot include Salesforce and software company Pegasystems. The former also happens to be the owner of the texting platform Slack.

The company is now considering strategies to achieve its goal of democratising access to the field of artificial intelligence and its advancement. It aspires to achieve that by providing a far more private and secure platform where companies may develop their own apps. These would operate artificial intelligence software more effectively and affordably than current competitors in the market.
