Ex-Twitter official, senior executive flag Elon Musk’s management style

Former Twitter official Yoel Roth earlier claimed that Twitter was safe under Elon Musk

Twitter’s former head of trust and safety Yoel Roth has flagged new CEO Elon Musk’s management style while criticizing the latter’s hands-off approach to content moderation.

Yoel Roth also mentioned that the company doesn’t have enough employees who understand factors like trust and safety.

Despite Elon Musk saying that Twitter will have a “content moderation council” and problematic accounts won’t be reinstated anytime soon, he has restored a number of suspended accounts (including that of Donald Trump).

Yoel Roth earlier claimed that Twitter was safe under Elon Musk.

Yoel Roth resigned from his post on November 10, two weeks after Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover. He cited the fiasco around the new paid verification feature as one of the reasons behind him quitting the post.

Meanwhile, Ireland-based senior Twitter executive Sinead McSweeney has secured an injunction preventing the social media firm from firing her.

Sinead McSweeney also informed the court that the working culture in the company has become more difficult under Elon Musk.

Sinead McSweeney has reportedly been working for over 75 hours a week as opposed to the contractual 40 hours.
