The 10th Annual Global Business Outlook Awards ceremony successfully took place in Dubai’s Shangri-La on February 13, 2025. The event was graced by Mr. Mohamed Al Banna, Group CEO, LEAD Ventures & Connect LEAD.
The list of prominent winners of the Global Business Outlook Awards 2024 includes ROSHN Group, NHC, AREIC, Jeelpay, Tawuniya, Alrajhi Takaful, stc Kuwait, Mashreq Al Islami, National Unified Procurement Company, SPIMACO, Cenomi Retail, King Abdullah Port, Seder ICT, and Shamah Autism Company.
After clinching the ‘Fastest Growing Investment Company – Mining – Saudi Arabia 2024’ award, Rasi Investment Company Chairman Eng. Meshary AlAli, said, “First, I would like to thank Global Business Outlook (GBO) for this award. I believe this recognition comes after a lot of hard work from our teams and partners. This award also reflects the strong support we have received from our shareholders. As we implement our long-term strategy, we’ve become the largest investment company in the Middle East mining sector. We also aim to increase our contribution to GDP, which is in line with both our goals and national objectives.”
“The mining industry is highly competitive and requires long-term investments. We are collaborating with our partners to secure the best locations and recruit the most advanced technology and services. We strongly believe that Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, in general, are prime regions for this type of industry, and we are confident in the potential of this sector,” he added, when questioned regarding Rasi Investment Company maintaining its competitive edge in such a competitive industry.
During an interaction with Global Business Outlook, Sigma Paints CEO Saleh Al Zahrani shared his excitement upon receiving the ‘Best CEO for Paint Manufacturing – Mr. Saleh Al-Zahrani – Saudi Arabia 2024’ award.
He said, “It’s truly an honour to be awarded this recognition. I believe it’s the collective effort of my team that is being recognised tonight, as they are truly behind all of the company’s successes. One of the most important factors is having a clear vision for the company, working according to that vision, developing practical strategies with measurable goals, and sticking to them.”
“I believe that in our industry, the most important thing is to be proactive rather than reactive. Another key factor is having active innovation. Innovation is what drives competitiveness—it’s about finding new solutions, understanding the needs of customers, listening closely to market demands, keeping up with technological advancements, and adapting to changes as needed,” CEO Saleh Al Zahrani added.
He also advised young entrepreneurs to surround themselves with the right people.
“Continuous learning is essential. That’s the first thing I would recommend to anyone in any industry. Secondly, surround yourself with the right people. Invest in them, and support them, because people are the heart of any organisation. Also, always have a clear vision,” he noted.
Meanwhile, Mr. Muhanad Ali, Quality and Operations Manager at Shamah Autism Company, expressed his gratitude to GBO for recognising the company with the ‘Fastest Growing Rehabilitation Services Provider – Saudi Arabia 2024’ award.
He said, “I want to thank GBO for honouring us with the award. Our approach from top to bottom is how we care for the beneficiary and their family. We prioritise the well-being of our beneficiaries over profit-making scenarios. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and everything we do is focused on what’s best for the beneficiary.”
